After collecting his tips, changing out his out of his purple, shimmery kimono, he put his leather pants and dark purple button up back on. Removing his make-up the dancer looked, after grabbing his bag, and saw Hitsugi leave; watching him for a moment he followed the other out of the building. "Hey Hitsugi.." He said, offering the other a small hint of a smile as he pulled out a cigarette and lit it.
He enjoyed talking to the other; catching up to him he slowed his pace to walk beside the other dancer. "What's up?"
The red and black haired dancer looked over his shoulder and allowed Kaoru to catch up. He'd been working with the other for a couple of months now and had found that he wasn't bad nor as pushy as seek had formerly been. Rumors were that the blue haired man had gotten his own brothel... and Isshi had been glad to see the man go.
Hitsugi could've cared less; he'd had too many things on his mind as of
"Hey." He said with a smile. There was a bag over his shoulder. "Wanna get some coffee or something? I'm kinda starving." Hitsugi said. Daishi wouldn't be up waiting, he was busy... so this would be okay.
Kaoru smiled, looking up and around at the passersby for a moment before looking back at Hitsugi. "You drink coffee when you're hungry?" He asked, tilting his head to the side and arching a finely plucked brow. Yes, he cared about the way he looked. Always. He nodded, "But coffee sounds good right about now..." The dancer ran his hand through his purple locks, knowing he was going to need a nice shower that night as he had been working for about eight hours.
"How’s everything with Daishi?"
"Hm. Depends. My VIP? He's well."
Kaoru nodded, "I would like to have one...the extra money would be nice to help out my mother.." He man saw a cafe, pointing to it. "Want to go there?" He asked, tilting his head to the side a little.
"That's fine." Hitsugi smiled. "And you'll get one soon, I'm sure. Just.. make sure you give it away to the right person. There have been few occasions where the obi has been forcibly revoked by Hakuei on Isshi's order because the VIP was mistreating a dancer."
Kaoru nodded, "I'll make sure to do that." He said, smiling some and holding the door open for the shorter dancer. Once they were inside he moved with Hitsugi to the counter and looked at the menu, "Go ahead." Letting the other know he could order first.
"Thanks." Hitsugi said as he looked over the menu board. He really was hungry so he ended up ordering an American style breakfast, with a black cup of coffee. He still had studying to do and class shortly there after. Luckily he was off the next day...
Kaoru nodded, ordering just a coffee and a muffin he paid and thanked the waiter before taking his food to a booth to wait for Hitsugi. He watched the dancer, seeing the gracefulness that he expressed on stage in everything that he did.
"So." The pierced dancer began. "Got your eyes on anyone for a vip?"
Kaoru shrugged, picking at the muffin he took a sip of his coffee. "Not really yet..."
"Really? Why not? It means more money and you have a chance to service who you want. They get priority over the rest of your customers."
"I know that..but I just haven't noticed anyone who would seem like a good VIP..." He frowned, chewing on his bottom lip.
"You'll figure it out.. hey, what about that young business man that requests you all the time? The one who tips well and drinks expensive European wine?"
Kaoru smiled when he thought of him, nodding. "He might be a good VIP, though he has never given me a sip of that wine.." He joked lightly with a smile, tilting his head to the side.
"Have you not entertained anyone privately?" Hitsugi asked as he took a sip of his coffee.
He shook his head, "not yet..."
"The customer has to ask for it, but for a bit more money they can get more than a dance. S'where most of my money comes from... though I'm not one of the more popular dancers. People like Aya-hime and Ayumi-kun, they're called on all the time." Hitsugi took the last bite of his pancakes.
"Oh.." Kaoru nodded, knowing that he wasn't called on privately killed his self-esteem a little.
"It'll happen. You might make sure that Isshi has removed you from the 'off-limits' list."
Kaoru nodded, "I'll come in a little early to talk to him tomorrow then...you think he would?"
"Take me off the 'off-limits' list..."
"You have to tell him when you're ready; he just doesn't throw his dancers to the wolves."
He nodded, "Well...I have danced before at a different club. And I've been at Nine Spiral for about two months...maybe I could wait one more month to make sure that I want to be off-limits and to make sure that there is at least a little of interest in me..."
"It's up to you. I never was on the 'off limits' list."
Kaoru nodded, "I'll think on it tonight and tomorrow...so what else has been going on?" He tilted his head to the side, smiling prettily.
"What do you mean?" Hitsugi asked. There wasn't much going down other than seek getting roughed up awhile back.
He shrugged, "I don't mean at the club, just with you."
"Not much to tell. School and staying at home with my cat, going to a few lives here and there when I have time."
Kaoru nodded, "Doing well in school then?" He asked, Hitsugi was the only dancer he worked with that he talked to, and he enjoyed the presence of the shorter.
"Yeah, had some trouble with my English teacher awhile back... but it's been long since taken care of." Hitsugi smiled back at the other.
Kaoru smiled, "Good." He nodded, reaching over and teasingly patting the top of the other's head.
"Hey!" Hitsugi slapped at the hand. "Don't do that!" He almost finished that sentence with, "you're not Daishi" but he stopped himself. He was only 'kitten' to Daishi and no one else.
Kaoru stuck his tongue out, "You're just too cute." He smiled, taking his bag into his hand. "Are you working tomorrow?"
"Um... no. I'm not. Class and all that. S'a full day tomorrow." Hitsugi took a pack of cigarettes from his prized messenger bag and lit one up.
Kaoru nodded, "See you when you are again then." He smiled at the other, taking out his own cigarettes and lighting one up on his way out. He needed some sleep, and he wanted to see the little kitten his mother had bought him just the day before; the little animal still needed to be bottle fed and he could almost bet that she was screaming for food.</lj>
